'' A scuola di open coesione'' (ASOC) means ''at open cohesion school'' and it's a project that starts from the will to inform the citizens and to examine how the resources allocated by the UE are used to make our territory and the public works better.
Therefore in this research with the help of technology, statistics and journalism, like for example using the cohesion's politics, and through an activity of civic monitoring, we are going to analyse and find out if the funds are truly used in an effective and proper way. Working on this project doesn't only let us develop digital and writing competences and learn how to analyse open data, but it also aims to a global growth of our skills.
The project starts from an initiative called ''Open coesione'' and is financially supported by the territorial cohesion's agency, which gives also an organisational support.
ASOC joins together civic education, digital skills, storytelling and transversal competences like developing a critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, and developing interpersonal and communicative abilities.
The didactic path includes 5 classes, the visit for the civic monitoring, the active participation at an international event called ''Open data day'' and a final public event.
